Heather's Story

Let's talk about Heather's incredible smile transformation journey! Heather came to us looking for a way to rejuvenate her smile. She had a cosmetic makeover done years ago, and at the time, the shade of white chosen for her teeth was considered super bright. While it initially seemed dazzling, Heather now felt that her teeth looked dull and worn out. She also noticed that her smile seemed to be tilting to one side, which was a bit concerning.

As we took a closer look at Heather's teeth, we noticed another issue. Her teeth were all leaning inwards towards her tongue, and she mentioned that some of her back teeth were hardly visible in pictures. We completely agreed with Heather's observations and knew that we needed to take action to reverse these trends and bring back both function and aesthetics to her smile.

Our goal was to give Heather correctly proportioned teeth and a shade of color that would complement her overall appearance. To achieve this, we started by addressing the forces that were causing her teeth to shift. We used therapeutic Botox in the muscles of mastication—the muscles that control jaw movement—to help control some of Heather's biting forces. By doing this, we aimed to prevent her teeth from shifting out of place in the future.

Next, we focused on restoring the vertical dimension of Heather's lower face. This means that we lengthened all of her teeth to the proper proportions, giving her a more balanced and youthful appearance. It's amazing how much of a difference the right tooth proportions can make in a person's smile!

Finally, we carefully selected a shade for Heather's new teeth that perfectly matched her skin tones and personality. We wanted her smile to look natural, vibrant, and genuinely "her." The end result was a stunning transformation that left Heather beaming with confidence.
